What is Partnering? | Online tutorial
Biotech 2010 is the first Italian event providing online partnering (system supplied by EBD Group). You can pre-arrange your one-to-one meetings using the online facility. Only meeting requests which are accepted by both parties will be scheduled, ensuring you only have meetings that both parties want.
You will be guided through the process with a series of email updates and reminders. In the first instance you are invited to file a company profile. Full partnering, including requesting meetings and setting your availability, will become available approximately four to six weeks before the event. Meetings will be automatically scheduled during the week before the conference based on your personal availability. Here is a quick guide to the partnering steps. Profile: Start by completing your partnering profile. Your Profile is a brief summary of your company and products.
Search and Request: When the full system is launched (approximately four to six weeks prior to the event), you can search through other attendees’ profiles and request meetings.
Availability: Please indicate when you are available to attend partnering meetings on your Agenda page.
Responses: You need to log in to monitor responses to your requests, and to check who has requested meetings with you. You will not be sent emails for every change in your account.
Scheduling: The system will schedule all agreed meetings, based on the availability of participants, to ensure everyone has the maximum possible number of meetings over the course of the day.
Personal Schedule: Your preliminary schedule will be available a week before the event, and it will be updated daily until the event. Your final schedule, including meeting locations, should be printed out when you arrive at the event.
